Sexual Abuse Treatment:

Has your child been sexually abused or assaulted?
If so, our Sexual Abuse Treatment Program can help your child and family.

Can you use our program?

If your child is under 18 years of age and living in the Region of Peel, you can use our program
  • if your child has been sexually abused or assaulted,
  • if your child has behaviours that are sexual in ways that are not typical for his or her age, or
  • if your teenager has been in trouble because of his or her sexual behaviours.

What do we do?

We will talk with you and your child about your treatment needs and how our services can help. You and your child may be asked to fill out some forms.

Our professional staff will work with you as a team to make a treatment plan. We will offer counselling for your child. We may also offer counselling for your family, or counselling as part of a group.

We use treatments that have been measured to make sure they help children, teenagers and families.

If your problems happen again after you finish your treatment, you are welcome to return to our program for more treatment.
