Peel Infant-Parent Program
The Peel Infant-Parent Program is for parents who wish to enhance their attachment relationship with their infant or young toddler. This program is a partnership between the Region of Peel, Children's Services, and Peel Children's Centre.


Who is eligible for our program?

We offer this program for caregivers who:

  • live in the Region of Peel,
  • have an infant or toddler aged 36 months or younger,
  • may be coping with multiple stressors, including substance abuse, adoption, postpartum mood disorder, or other mental health issues, and
  • may have an infant or toddler who has social or emotional delays.


What do we do?
We offer a half-day, five-days-per-week program at 9996 Kennedy Road North in Brampton. We also provide intensive, flexible, in-home children's mental health services. The program includes psychological consultation and assessment when warranted.


All staff are trained in infant development, infant mental health, and attachment intervention to support positive relationships.


Referring partners for this program are:

  • Healthy Babies, Healthy Children - Peel Public Health,
  • Peel Children's Aid Society, and
  • Peel Infant Development - Trillium Health Centre.


How can you access our program?

The caregiver or referring partner initiates a referral through Peel Inclusion Resource Services (PIRS) Intake at 905-791-7800 ext (7627).
