Our Volunteer Services offer a wide variety of programs that support and enhance the clinical services offered by Peel Children's Centre and Nexus Youth Services. These programs are staffed with dedicated volunteers from the community.
Who is eligible for our program?
Our Volunteer Services are for
clients of Peel Children's Centre and Nexus Youth Services, and
for respite services, any child from the community who has a Case Manager may be eligible for Children's Mental Health Respite Services of Peel.
What do we do?
Our volunteers provide a wide range of services, for example,
transportation for families struggling to commute to Peel Children's Centre,
mentoring for children who would benefit from a positive role model in their life,
one-on-one tutoring for children in grades one through seven who are experiencing difficulties with school work,
respite services for families who would benefit from a break,
on-site childcare for parents attending Peel Children's Centre for educational, support or counselling sessions, and
assistance with fundraising and special events throughout the year.

Parents/caregivers of clients of Peel Children's Centre or Nexus Youth Services should contact the Clinician who works with their child.
