Since 1988, Peel Children’s Centre has asked child and youth mental health professionals working within the Peel community to help honour their peers who best embody prevention and early intervention treatment approaches in their work.
The Mary Neville Award was created in honour of the late Mary Neville — a former Prevention Coordinator for Peel Children’s Centre. Throughout her career, Mary made valuable contributions to the area of children’s mental health. Mary’s work particularly focused on the positive outcomes that resulted when employing prevention and early intervention treatment methods.
This year’s Mary Neville Award will be presented to an individual from the Peel community who is judged to have made the most significant contributions to child and youth mental health. If you know of an individual who deserves such recognition, please take a moment to share their accomplishments with us.
The award presentation will take place at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 21st at the Mississauga Convention Centre.
