MEDIA ALERT: Peel Paramedics make Christmas Delivery

WHAT:
Peel Regional Paramedic Services will deliver ambulances filled with toys and diapers to Peel Children’s Centre (PCC). Media will be able to interview the paramedics and PCC staff once everything has been unloaded.

WHY:
The Peel Paramedic Service and Association partner each year for a Christmas toy and diaper drive and chose to give the donations to a Peel organization committed to children. PCC provides services for nearly 3,900 children/youth under 18 who are experiencing serious mental health challenges annually.

PCC is a fully accredited, charitable, not-for-profit children’s mental health centre that has served Peel since 1985. Each year PCC provides 6,800 services free-of-charge for children/youth under age 18, and their families, who are experiencing serious mental health challenges such as aggression, defiance, impulsivity, anxiety, depression, attachment disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and self-harm.
