Telmetrics Partners with Peel Children’s Centre to Support Children and Families in Need

Mississauga – Grateful staff of Peel Children’s Centre brought a truck to Telmetrics’ Mississauga office today to pick up all the toys and goods that six high-needs families will need to enjoy a Merry Christmas.

“We are delighted that Telmetrics chose Peel Children’s Centre’s families as the recipients of its holiday charitable campaign,” said Humphrey Mitchell, executive director of Peel Children’s Centre (PCC).

PCC serves children, youth and families who are experiencing serious difficulties with their feelings, relationships or behaviour. Among PCC’s clients are many families who are also struggling to make ends meet.

“Telmetrics’ staff has very generously donated everything that our families need for the holidays, from toys to food, clothing and household goods,” Mitchell said. “Their kindness has been overwhelming.”

Telmetrics’ staff, both in Mississauga and throughout the US, sponsored six high-needs families at Peel Children’s Centre, ensuring that these families would receive everything on their list of needs. The campaign was so successful that cash donations were received to provide for additional families beyond the original six.

“Christmas should be a special time for children, but if their families are struggling with a combination of mental health and financial challenges, enjoying happy holidays can be an impossible dream,” said Bill Dinan, president, Telmetrics. “All of us at Telmetrics are delighted to be able to provide the means for these families to have a merrier Christmas.”
