Peel Children's Centre is an accredited children’s mental health centre that provides a continuum of high quality mental health services for children, youth and their families who are experiencing or may experience serious emotional difficulties. Our services are provided in a dynamic, client-centred environment that values flexibility, accessibility and responsiveness.

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the physical condition of the buildings and grounds owned by Peel Children’s Centre and associate equipment and vehicles meet the standards set out by the Centre, and that all relevant licensing and health and safety regulations and legislation is adhered to. The incumbent plans and schedules preventative maintenance, responds to work orders for maintenance, repairs or replacements, develops specifications for and liaises with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensures repairs and recommendations are carried out. The Maintenance Coordinator carries out all responsibilities in keeping with the Centre’s Mission Statement, Values, Clinical and Management Philosophies, accreditation standards, policies and procedures and annual Service Plan.

The successful incumbent will:
* Possess a Grade 12 diploma.
* Possess a Journeyman’s Certificate and/or trade papers in one trade relevant to skilled maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Have a minimum three years directly related experience.
* Have knowledge of related licensing regulations, health and safety legislation and related licensing requirements. Must be insured and bonded.
* Possess knowledge, skills and physical ability necessary to perform general maintenance and repairs including carpentry, appliance repair, decorating, auto repair, electrical work, plumbing and landscaping.
* Have proven ability to deal with all levels of staff, vendor suppliers and local government representatives.
* Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
* Have proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in dealing with emergencies.
* Be able to travel throughout the greater Moncton area to visit sites.

The annual salary range for this position is from $23,038 to $26,832. As a part-time employee, you would be eligible for Peel Children’s Centre’s benefit and pension plans as well as generous vacation and personal leave time.
